US AID and the George Soros Oligarch

This is my Facebook intro to the WIKI-LEAKS Thread on K, followed by an excerpt from said thread.

Keep it up — I hear the Left saying this is fascist.

Because you knowthat is one of the first things Mussolini and Hitler did when they got into government: shrink government control and influence by cutting legislation, shuttering the doors of government bureaucracies controlling and influencing people’s lives.

Auditing where the tax-payer’s monies are going and releasing their findings publicly.

As a quasi-student of history, I would guess that Trump and Elon would need to go back to “fascism school.”

If people are worried about the rich harming societyhow about George Soros and his son influencing about 30% of campaigns for district attorneys/prosecutors in our nation? And the major ones backed are all about shrinking the population of imprisoned murderers and rapists so they can wreak havoc on the streets again.

A pro-police legal group made public on Wednesday its map of 27 left-leaning prosecutors funded by the soft-on-crime network funded by Democratic megadonor George Soros.

Building on its project to identify Soros-funded prosecutors, the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund interactive map shows donations and key stories about the 27 targets.

In March 2023, the group released its bare–bones map of where the Soros prosecutors are located. Wednesday’s map provides more details on the highest-profile favorites of the Soros organization.

The legal group said it is working to identify and map some 70 prosecutors who received $50 million in campaign donations. LELDF has argued that the prosecutors have followed a policy of releasing violent criminals and looking away at some crime.

“The first installment profiles 27 Soros-funded prosecutors, including Manhattan’s Alvin Bragg, Los Angeles’s George Gascon, Memphis’s Steve Mulroy, and Minneapolis’s Mary Moriarty. Future installments will include the more than 70 Soros-backed prosecutors across the United States. To date, George Soros has spent over $50 million to elect radical prosecutors from Maine to Oregon, Los Angeles to Savannah,” the group told Secrets…..

Or fund [along with US AID] organizations trafficking people across our border. That seems to be more influential/impactful oligarchy stuff to me.

In fact, the Left outstrips the GOP by 2-to-1 in billionaires/millionaires [between Hollywood and business] supporting their causes.

Dumb lemmings.

  • Praise God for the revelations that have been coming out about USAID. President Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and DOGE have been doing a very good job of going after this organization that feels more like a Bond-villain cabal in the vein of “Specter.” Let’s pray that they are successful in bringing this conspiracy to an end. — J.D. WIKI-LEAKS on X: 🧵 THREAD 🧵

USAID has pushed nearly half a billion dollars ($472.6m) through a secretive US government financed NGO, “Internews Network” (IN), which has “worked with” 4,291 media outlets, producing in one year 4,799 hours of broadcasts reaching up to 778 million people and “training” over 9000 journalists (2023 figures). IN has also supported social media censorship initiatives.

The operation claims “offices” in over 30 countries, including main offices in US, London, Paris and regional HQs in Kiev, Bangkok and Nairobi. It is headed up by Jeanne Bourgault, who pays herself $451k a year. Bourgault worked out of the US embassy in Moscow during the early 1990s, where she was in charge of a $250m budget, and in other revolts or conflicts at critical times, before formally rotating out of six years at USAID to IN.

Bourgault’s IN bio and those of its other key people and board members have been recently scrubbed from its website but remain accessible at http://archive.org. Records show the board being co-chaired by Democrat securocrat Richard J. Kessler and Simone Otus Coxe, wife of NVIDIA billionaire Trench Coxe, both major Democratic donors. In 2023, supported by Hillary Clinton, Bourgault launched a $10m IN fund at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI). The IN page showing a picture of Bourgault at the CGI has also been deleted.

IN has at least six captive subsidiaries under unrelated names including one based out of the Cayman Islands. Since 2008, when electronic records begin, more than 95% of IN’s budget has been supplied by the US government (thread follows)

Mark is joined by FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr to discuss a George Soros-backed movement with excessive foreign ownership to effectively buy the FCC, and the idea that an unelected Democrat commission can control our airwaves.

The Mainstream [State] Media Propped Up by Government Funding

Without this US A.I.D. and other government sources of funds, the NYTs and Politico types will go under or cut back drastically. Democrats love their state run media! Which is counter — in case you weren’t aware — to our form of government.

Fox News host Jesse Watters discusses how Democrats are reacting after President Donald Trump’s first weeks in office on ‘Jesse Watters Primetime.’

No wonder Bill Kristol just said this: “The deep state is far preferable to the Trump state.”

He was getting paid through US AID via “The Deep State.” Which is why POLITICO nixed article by their reporters critical of Obama and reporters that were pointing to his failing mind. Same gravy train – state media.

Lol.

But at the same time, [… dramatic pause…] not funny. More […head tiled up in a contemplative look…] Totalitarian. In the free market of ideas, they would lose. It takes state funding to keep the monster [pro “democracy”] alive.

It all makes sense now! PJ-MEDIA: (see Data Republican as well [MAIN X]):

“Can’t stop the signal,” the phrase popularized in the 2005 sci-fi flick “Serenity” has today been supplanted by “Can’t hide the data,” courtesy of Data Republican (small-r)’s ever-improving Federal government grant award search. For example, how does a private figure like William Kristol get taxpayer money to fund his political activities?

Answer: it’s complicated. But I can show you the way.

Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors received nearly $38 million in grants last year, nearly evenly divided between USAID and the State Department. Because the Rockefellers don’t have enough of their own money, I suppose.

RPA gave significant sums (the Data Republican chart did not make clear how much, but I’m still digging and will update this column if I can find the number) to The Hopewell Fund. What does it do? According to its site, Hopewell has been around only since 2015 and “is a 501(c)(3) public charity that specializes in helping donors, social entrepreneurs, and other changemakers quickly launch new, innovative social change projects.”

That’s a whole lot of words saying not much. However, I did see that the organization’s Economic Security Project provides “management for nearly a dozen contracts and grants management for community-based organizations, think tanks, advocacy organizations, and NGOs in the United States.”

Slush, meet funds. Your taxpayer dollars became “private” funds via Rockefeller that then went into a whole host of progressive causes via groups like Hopewell. I’m using Hopewell as an example because one of its beneficiaries — to the tune of $2 million last year — is another organization called Defending Democracy Together.

[….]

[….]

Defending Democracy’s president is Bill Kristol and its directors are Mona Charen, Linda Chavez, and Sarah Longwell. Judging by Kristol’s presence and its directors, Defending Democracy is essentially the nonprofit arm of Kristol’s post-Weekly Standard/anti-Trump project, The Bulwark.

Whatever it is that Defending Democracy Together does, it doesn’t seem to do much of it in public. The group’s website doesn’t appear to have been updated since 2021. Although the Donate button seems to work.

Honestly, Kristol is probably among the least of our problems. What, if any, influence he still has is bolstered by an amount of money that’s piddling by USAID/State/NGO standards. I use him as an example only because as someone who’s been around Washington and power his entire life, he’s a public figure I was sure you’d be familiar with.

Following the spaghetti-like trail of money from your taxes to USAID to private groups like Kristol’s was nearly impossible before Data Republican built her database. But we also have a man now on the inside, Elon Musk. ……
